Hilton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor

This was our first stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Energy Corridor. I checked in via the app but picked up a physical key as a backup. The front desk staff was initially a bit standoffish but became more welcoming after some conversation. I was informed that a complimentary upgrade was not available because I had already checked in through the app, which was the first time I had heard of this policy. I have been with Hilton for over two decades and am a diamond member. The room was clean, and the layout was very similar to other Hilton Garden Inn properties we’ve stayed at. We had an approved late checkout at 12:30 pm and placed the Do Not Disturb sign on the door; however, housekeeping still knocked around 11:30 am. This was disruptive, especially as we were on an international call with family in Scotland at the time. I shared the incident with Ethel, the front desk manager, but found the interaction dismissive, as she appeared preoccupied with her phone and gave the impression that my concern was an inconvenience. I later emailed Lincoln, the guest service manager, but did not receive a response. Overall, the stay was acceptable, though service consistency and responsiveness could be improved.

This hotel is one my favorite! It is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ethel at the front desk is an amazing receptionist, very kind and helpful.

This is like our home away from home. Stay there several times each month. We love that it’s a quiet hotel. They go the extra mile to make sure that I get my Diamond credit applied to my bill.

Good location! Set back from the freeway so it was quiet. Friendly staff. Room was nice size and bed was very comfortable.

Our hot water was not working properly. It did not warm up enough.

Ethel jackson at the front desk is the best always nice, informative, always willing to help I come every week an its always pleasant when she is at the desk
