The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort

I was recommended to book this resort for my family trip during 4-6 July 2020. And it’s good decision. After few months closed due to the COVID-19, all plant and trees are so green,very clean and green natural environment. Staff service is excellent; khun Tae, Fang and Bow did very job. Smile and very helpful. My family are happy to stay here. We will come back again.!

If you gonna find the place to relax after the bad situation “The regent chalet” is your choice . I really recommend this one because it’s full of peace and especially close to the sea so find your free time and come to visit once . You’ll love this place like me.

This was our 8th time at the Regent Chalet and since our last visit the Chalets have been refurbished with new furniture and have had a safe and Internet installed. They are now up to the standard expected of a modern hotel while still retaining the peace, tranquility and environment which was so enjoyable during our last visits. For the first 2 weeks the holiday went as expected but then the effects of the regulations to control the virus started to affect us. Note The village and local area was virus free, the problems came because either places were ordered to close (bars, shops and restaurants) or we chose not to go to them (markets, Hua Hin, Cha Am). The hotel closed on 1st April and we were given the option of leaving, with the management helping to find us somewhere else to stay, or remaining at the Regent Chalet with most services closed but our room still cleaned as normal. We chose to stay and we ended up being the only 2 guests in the hotel. Everything worked fine, our room was serviced, we had WiFi and we could watch the hotel being mothballed for 3 months. All the staff were very helpful and professional even though they must have been under incredible pressure with worries about their future. We were very sad to leave and hope that the hotel has the bright future it deserves when it reopens in July. We hope to return next year to what is our favourite hotel in Thailand.

Regent Chalet has great staff. I forgot my most valuable thing and the guy who cleaned the room returned to me. I am overwhelmed happy and appreciated . Beside peaceful ,tranquil ,service mind staffs ,being trustworthy is more important. Definitely we will come again! 👍👍👍👍👍

Locating by seaside , every evening can directly touch the sea breezes until late night , various room types with all necessary facilities , their bungalows so well appropriate for family or group vacation ~~

We stayed 2 weeks at regent chalet. Nice gardens ,cosy chalets, good breakfast , very friendly staff . But only one bad thing is not possible to swim from the beach . Beach is reinforced with big sand bags due to erosion .

Love this Paradise! Fresh Ocean Air, swaying Palm trees, fragrant flowers, birds, butter flies. Clean rooms and grounds. Sparkling clean swimming pool, with super Jacuzzi jets! Thai massage therapists, well trained. Staff most courteous and friendly.. Ever want to leave!

It is a quiet hotel with a good swimming pool.It is very close,within a few minutes walk to the local village which has numerous restaurants at reasonable prices and good quality.The hotel rooms are a bit tired and as frequent returners we were disappointed to have to ask for bath robes and slippers which are usually provided! The hotel restaurant is expensive and the breakfast overpriced.Its interesting that if you dont pre book breakfast,you are offerred it at half the price when you arrive and tell them its expensive!Perhaps Expedia should negotiate direct with the hotel for a better price beforehand.Customers bewarned..every weekend hoardes of Thai,Japanese or Chinese descend on the hotel for conferences and parties.These are loud affairs but do usually end at 11pm!

We stayed 3 days at regent chalet. We were satisfied, but there are things to be aware of before you book (some of it is more about the area than the hotel itself). Plus: - the swimming pool. Big and nice. Not crowded (but possibly a special situation due to drop in chinese turists) - the cabinn and garden (although price is higher than other places in Thailand) - small village 15 minutes by foot with good restaurants and small shops - helpful staff - great massage - good breakfast with a view Minus: - the beach is reinforced by big sand bags (not really charming). - jellyfish in water means we did not swim - in high tide, the beach completely disappears, and waves come very close to the cabinn - 25 minutes from Hua Hin - overpriced taxi service when booking through the hotel - average restaurant with prices above average But all in all we liked our stay. Just a matter of expectations.
