The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort

We had a villa. It was ok for what we paid. The staff were great-friendly and helpful. Our room and the breakfast were average. Important to remember that it’s Thailand and the standards there can’t be compared to a 5 star resort in Sydney. The beach is pretty unusable but the pools were nice. An older demographic were the majority at the resort so don’t go expecting party central. It’s not Phuket.

The hotel was very comfortable and had guests from a wide range of nationalities. Located in a quiet area but within a short walk there were small restaurants and bars. The livelier areas of Cha am and Hua Hin require a taxi. Hua Hin night market well worth a trip.

Good location. Staff are nice, professional services, they understand inquiries and response quickly. The pool, the garden, restaurant and other rest area are clean and well maintenance. Massages beside the beach is really good. Thank to reopen Sala Thai. Anyway allow me to feedback for improvement. There are some items require to install and take care of, e.g. the blinders (in case of oil massage), the fan (sometimes no wind), the rain slash protection and last but important is fixing the ceiling is require na kha, there's lot of dust falling when rain and windy. Overall rate is 95% or more kha and I will be back definitely.

Stay was very nice and relaxed. It was rainy during afternoon so could not enjoy much in the afternoon. Need to improve on cleaning of nearby beach...

Perfect for a quiet getaway with plentiful grounds

We stayed 1 week in a ocean front Anavana Villa it was excellent. Short walk to the small town at the resort where you can drop laundry very inexpensively, daily van's to Cha Am if your so inclined but really the resort and small town offer it all with many restaurants, bars, etc.. Next to the resort on the beach is a great open air seafood restaurant/bar with excellent food. I will definitely stay here again the staff bent over backwards to make our stay a memorable event. This resort is large and you can actually get lost walking around, it's totally safe, beautiful, and lovely surroundings on the ocean front.
