Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville at Opryland

It’s perfectly located for Opryland activities and the $15 shuttle to downtown Nashville is a life saver and cheaper than driving yourself. What I liked best was the staff. We arrived at about 11PM only to find a problem with the booking. But, the magnificent Ilene made that go away and turned what could have been a trying situation into a blessing.

Fourth floor drains were slow. Would be in two inches of water by end of shower. Wi-Fi was not reliable

When we first arrived we were greeted at reception by Ashe, a friendly, patient and courteous gentleman. Ashe was dressed like a the rhinestone cowboy and we all loved it! What a way to start our vacation in Nashville! We fell right into the mood! He was easy to speak with and willing to help us in any way and answer our many questions about the area. The hotel itself was very nice, updated, clean and about 20 minutes from downtown. There were inexpensive shuttles ($15 PP round trip) to take us into the heart of Nashville and a shuttle for the Grand Olde Opry,($10 PP) This hotel is a 7 minute drive from The Grand Olde Opry. We hadn’t rented a car so this was so perfect. We did have a few issues at breakfast but when I approached the manager, he also was willing to make it right and did. I’m glad we chose this hotel. We are all in our late 60s, and really didn’t want to be too close to the craziness of Broadway. Post Malone was in town and there was a free concert there and from what we understand it was shoulder to shoulder young people. I love Post Malone but was happy to be away from that kind of crowd. Because of our location (BTW, 12 minutes from the airport) this hotel was also much more reasonable. We were happy here and would recommend it.

Easy parking. Shuttle bus. Breakfast and staff

rooms were very clean. housekeeping does a great job. a/c temperatures kept going up when we left the room. tv’s were outdated. they should definitely upgrade to smart tv’s. no filtered water and $4 for a bottle of water. looks like construction is going on but not active which is good for sound and disruption but makes the facility indoor and outdoor look messy and unkept. low pet fee of $50 and very pet friendly in terms of workers and people staying but no pet friendliness in terms of amenities except for bags at the back of the hotel by all the construction trash and debris. they should make sure it’s clearly stated they are under construction before you book.

The desk clerk- Ash was exceptional and worthy of being singled out as the “best” clerk I’ve ever met!!!!
