Brundage Bungalows

This is a great place to stay in town. We stayed there because it has 3 beds. It's clean. Lots of hot water. It's not luxury by any means. The kitchen is well stocked. The main thing we weren't crazy about is the air freshener that was plugged in the kitchen. Overpowering perfume smell. We unplugged it and opened all the windows. The kitchen faucet needs to be fixed. But it worked out fine for what we needed.

My wife and her friend reserved one night for a week from now but her friend's mother suffered a stroke. $220 was prepaid. We appealed to the owner or the administrative person for consideration but they declined. Yes, the initial agreement indicated no cancelations even for medical reasons. So, my husband was going to fill in but we'd have to bring our friendly golden doodle to McCall resulting in an extra $20. With check in restricted to 4pm and check out 11am, actual non sleeping time would amount to ~10 hrs at best or $24/hr. All that time would be largely spent in the city of McCall not in the bungalow. Demand for units are surely high this time of year so the owners could have had the unit rented by another couple. Being two time prior customers of Brundage Bungalows, I guess management would rather lose a customer. We realize that they have their costs to manage but our disappointment is with their restrictive policies and lack of concern for their customers. People should really think twice before staying here.

Clean, very nicely done Bungalows.

Front right burner on the stove does not work. The back right burner had so much oil on it the smoke filled the cabin. No can opener or liquid measuring cup... Could be a great property. Just isn't right now it's the little details and most of these were missed.

We enjoyed our stay! Just wanted to suggest that a few more kitchen towels and drinking glasses would be helpful. And maybe a few more bowls for food prep

The cabin was not cleaned well when we got there, cabinets were breaking down.

My family and I had the BEST stay at Brundage Bungalows! Before we even arrived, we already felt SO incredibly welcomed by Dee, when we called with a question - she is beyond SOOOO SWEET, HELPFUL, and truly one of the KINDEST and HAPPY human beings ever!! When we arrived - WOW what an ADORABLE property and cabins, and PERFECT LOCATION. There was a heavy snow right before we arrived, and all the cabins had the cutest walk way cleared our and the porch was ready for our arrival. It was truly magical walking into our cabin. All of the cabins and the grounds around it are so well taken care of and beautiful. Plus, there is everything you need inside the cutest cabin for your stay - every cooking item you would ever need (strainers, spatulas, pans, pots, etc), great size refrigerator, oven and cook top, coffee pot, snd so much more! Also, the beds were so comfy, fireplace heaters worked amazing, and shower was great! We are already checking our calendar to return! Truly such a great overall stay and experience. An extra thank you to Dee, for your sweetest hospitality! We will be returning again very, very soon!! Thank you again, so much for your sweetest hospitality Dee - you are a true joy! :) :)

Pricey for a tiny (incredibly small) cabin and the freaking cleaning person was banging on our door at 10:50am on a Monday!! 10 minutes BEFORE checkout time!! Incredibly cheap owners that obviously have zero idea how to run the place… This establishment is pricey, and they literally offer ZERO extra accommodations or extras for the high prices they charge. They don’t even have a front desk. With better management, this could be a great location. I truly hope it improves in the future. This has the potential to be an amazing spot.

A MUST vacation stay if you are going to McCall! These cabins have it all - coziness, comfort, full kitchen, comfy beds and triple sheeting. Close to center of town, walking trails, the lake and more - I can't say enough about how great our stay was.
