The location was great and the parking space was enough, although not for free.

The breakfast was very weak.

The cleanliness was excellent, and the room was spacious (an extra bed was provided for our 9-year-old son). It was comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were changed daily. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of a bottle of water and apple juice being left in the refrigerator every day. The location was excellent, with the Weißer Turm metro station just a 3-minute walk away, as well as a very well-stocked supermarket.

We arrived at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. and were informed that check-in started at 3:00 p.m., but that we could come back around 2:00–2:30 p.m. as the room might be ready by then. Since there was not much we could do in the city at that hour and everything was still closed, we waited in the lobby. Around 1:45 p.m., we asked at reception whether the room was ready, and a different employee informed us that check-in was at 3:00 p.m. and that an early check-in was available for an additional fee (€20). It would have been helpful if this had been communicated to us when we arrived in the morning. We would have gladly paid the €20 instead of waiting for so many hours until almost 3:00 p.m. By 1:45 p.m., paying for early check-in no longer made any sense. I also do not understand why Booking.com gives guests the option to inform the property of their arrival time if, upon arrival, the staff apparently do not see, read, or take this information into account. In addition, the refrigerator in the room worked very well and kept everything cold for the first two days, but from the third day onward it stopped cooling properly. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. A decent signal was only available on the ground floor, and even there the connection was unstable and frequently interrupted.
