Appellation Lodi - Wine & Roses Resort and Spa

A very pleasant and enjoyable, restful stay on a beautiful property. Convenient to local wineries and both the bakery/cafe and Americana House restaurant are top notch. The room was awesome and so spacious and well appointed. A very wonderful experience.

I have had hundreds of massages and a 90 minute massage with Lorraine Is in the top 1% I’ve ever had. The facilities are awesome amazing and I highly recommend this as a destination place even if you live outside of the area

The grounds are stunning, the atmosphere is tranquil. The massages were beyond amazing. If you have not been, you are seriously missing out.

This is a gorgeous place! So much care goes into these facilities, and it’s obvious they are passionate about upkeep. I love Diana! She’s just the very best, and there aren’t enough words to say how much Shelby and I appreciate her. Amber and Dwight are amazing. I love Nella. I enjoyed watching Amber and Diana lead her through certain processes so articulately. Tracy is amazing. The front desk- A+ always- wonderful, nice and personable. Kim is an angel. Not only does she play beautifully (and I’m a pianist), but she’s the loveliest person.

I love this property but for the first time in many many visits, I need to say that housekeeping needs to put some systems in place- temporary checklists- to make sure needs are met. My room wasn’t serviced day 1, and crème was not placed that night in my fridge or my colleagues. That was disappointing. We need to be pragmatic to say they work hard for little pay, and they’re so sweet and nice. However, they need some leadership support.

Avant de réserver , il faut bien comprendre que l’hôtel est fait pour l’événementiel (mariages, séminaires, départs en retraite …) et que ces événements sont prioritaires donc empiètent sur la place des autres clients. Lors de notre Check in la personne de la réception a glissé au couple nous précédant que les personnes invitées pour l’événement (départ en retraite) étaient prioritaires Versus les clients plateformes : merci merci pour nous. En fait l’hôtel est en trois parties : devant c’est un café avec le wine visitor center le long de la route / après le restaurant et le bar plus des chambres / ensuite un immense parking de type hypermarché / puis des chambres sur 2 étages avec une séparation entre les terrasses de 3 mètres (on se croirait en Italie quand on est sur sa terrasse car on voit et on entends bien les voisins …)

Nous avions la chambre 59 située au fond : c’est une chambre sombre avec une allée entre clôture béton !!! De type motel à 50$ En bref quand on réserve via une plateforme on est au fond si il y a un événement et tous les services sont bridés car il y a un événement !! Il faudrait le préciser lors de la réservation car nous avons pris un hôtel dit 5 étoiles mais c’était pour les invités car nous étions plutôt dans un motel de base.

What I liked most was the atmosphere and ambiance of the resort. The property felt beautiful, relaxing, and upscale. The room itself was also very pretty and comfortable overall. The food was AMAZING, and room service was excellent. The overall aesthetic and vibe of the resort really stood out and made it feel special.

What I did not like was that several parts of the experience did not match the luxury price point. Room 66 - The TV system was outdated and did not allow streaming services. The restaurant button on the phone did not work, so we had to keep calling the front desk for room service. The refrigerator froze our food, likely because of the cabinet door setup. The bathroom baseboards were dusty and walls were dirty in spots, and housekeeping never refreshed our room despite us being gone all day and not having a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We had to call multiple times for towels, water, coffee, and matches, and by the third call the front desk employee sounded irritated and sighed over the phone. Also, the stairs were difficult for us, and valet service would have been a nice option for a resort at this price level.
