Hotel Spa Villalba

Great quiet place to stay away from the resorts on the coast. Friendly, helpful staff, big rooms, decent breakfast. Spa would benefit from the temperatures of the pool/jacuzzi being turned up a bit, especially in winter.

This is a traditional older hotel and Swiss in style. The spa pool is needing return, cracked roof and very cold! The jacuzzi was too full to use otherwise there are 2 saunas a cold dip pool and showers. Nothing great about it really. The general outside areas of the hotel were a little run down too. The room overlooked the front of the hotel with no view and on to a road. The table on the balcony was full of cigarette ash! The restaurant was ok but the service terrible. We waited 25 mins after being given the dessert menu before walking out. Food ok. Village is very basic.

Das Hotel ist ruhig direkt neben dem Pinienwald gelegen und verfügt über eine schöne Gartenanlage, welche bei warmen Temperaturen alles bietet, um auf dem Liegestuhl oder einer Schaukel zu entspannen. Das Hotel ist zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Nationalpark. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig das Nachtessen im Hotel-Restaurant hat uns enttäuscht. Das Essen war lieblos zubereitet, verkocht oder geschmacklos. Schade. Zum Glück gibt es ein paar gute Restarants im Dorf.

When we arrived we were in formed by reception that due to a problem in our room it was not available for the first night. We were booked into another hotel in a town about 6 miles away. On the following day we returned and the room was lovely with balcony views of the woodland/garden. Again the lady receptionist was apologetic and offered us a free meal in the restaurant. Further to this there was a lovely bottle of Carva in our room. Our stay coincided with valentines day and the hotel was decked out in hearts and lovely banners. On our return to the room after breakfast a red rose and chocolates had been left by the cleaning staff. We had the evening meal which was valentines based and the Carva and passion fruit drink on arrival was a nice touch. Although our stay had been foreshortened by one night we realised what a great place it is to stay after comparing it to the other hotel. Very good access for disabled guests. Also being a parent I liked the idea of no kids rushing around. What's wrong with a bit of peace and quiet for a few days!

We (couple) chose the hotel because of the location close to the Teide national park and the vetetarian/vegan meal options. The food was delicious (always fresh and innovative), the vine comes from just around the corner and the bread served is simply out of this world. The staff was always very friendly, helpful and authentic. We quickly felt at home (no comparison to bigger hotel chains). The spa did also not disappoint. There is everything to be desired from a turkish bath over a sauna to a fully equipped gym, that we regularily enjoyed to use. The rooms very comfortably cool (air condition), cozily equipped and always tidy. On top of that we found ourselves in the unique canarian pine forest. Wildlife can be observed all around the beautiful terrace, where lunch and dinner can be had. Because of the remote location of the town of Vilaflor and the quite far walking distance to the town center, a rental car is a must.

Très bel hôtel récent mais bâti dans un style ancien avec belles boiseries et tres grands espaces très accueillants. Magnifique et tres grandre suite confort supérieur. Lit immense et confortable tout comme la salle de bain. Tres grande terrasse équipée avec table et transats. Le site et le jardin par eux même sont très bien aménagés et agréables au milieu des pins. Espace Spa piscine (avec un peu trop de chlore) très agréable. L'ensemble du personnel, avec un receptioniste parlant bien le français est adorable. Rien à redire pour cet établissement très bien situé sur la superbe route du Teide et de ses nombreux parcours de randonnée. Bref super séjour!
