Rosarito Beach Hotel

Stayed here with my husband and my three young boys. We had a really good time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I only took away one star because I feel like the property can do a little updating on the facilities. Other than that, everything was great. There were many restaurants and shopping at a walking distance.

The hotel is well located and the private beach is nice. The staff is also polite and friendly. Sadly, the good points end there. The first condo we got had no WiFi, a terrible smell and was overall dirty. We asked for the WiFi and the smell to be fixed but 5 hours later, nothing had been done. I had to report the WiFi problem to the front desk 4 times to get a solution. The smell was so bad that we had to change this condo for another one. In this new condo, there was no smell directly in the place but as soon as we turned the air conditioning on, a terrible smell of dead animal infested the condo. Besides being unable to turn on the air conditioning without suffocating, some others problems have to be reported. One of the condo’s room has a window with a view on the hallway with a constant flow of light coming through this window. Despite having a curtain, complete darkness isn’t possible in this room. Finally, not a single USB port is available in the room (even on the electronic devices furnished with the room). Finally, the breakfast is really a negative point. The range of choices in the buffet was very poor: 2 drink choices besides coffee and no more than 10 choices of food. That wouldn’t be a problem if the price wasn’t 90$ for 4 people. The stay was overall disappointing despite not being terrible.

Good accommodations, and the properties in great condition

What we liked was the location, Center of Town was ideal. Didn’t like, Building being 101 years old. Beds & TV almost the same age.
