Cortina Inn

We just needed a place to sleep on the way through. So served the purpose but definitely couldve been better. The staff were ok, not great and not bad. The lobby was very nice looking. The room was ok. Not clean and very outdated. Broken picture frame, bathtub had broken pieces cemented back together, carpet wasnt vacuumed, crumbs all over and trash behind the dresser. Location was nice and rooms had a back door that opened into an outside court yard which was the only positive thing about the stay here.

Staff is very friendly, close to shopping and the expressway.

The facility was rundown, outdated and not overly clean. They did not make the room or refill the coffee. When I ask about it they said IHG's new policy was to only make the room if requested. Would have been nice if we had been told that upfront, however they still didn't do it even when I requested it after the first day when I learned of the policy.

Strange wet spot on the floor. Shower/tub slow to drain. WiFi did not work. Couch very noticeably dirty. Desk staff was disinterested in service (quick to be done with us, though). On the positive side, it was quiet during our stay and the bed was comfortable.

Front desk slow . Room was TERRIBLE, and dirty . Cable TV lol . You it like 5 channels . Never again will I stay at this hotel

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This place is absolutely disgusting and, frankly, unsafe. I don’t have the time to list all the issues with this place but know that it smells terrible, there are stains and random disgusting left behind items in the rooms (including a used towel and cigarette butts in a “non-smoking room”), and when we checked in a man in the lobby was completely wasted and bleeding everywhere. Pay whatever you need to in order to stay at the Hampton Inn next door, or really anywhere other than this place. It should be bulldozed to the ground.

For starters parking lot did not seem safe. Lots of transient looking folks hanging out in the lot. Elevator didn't work. Restaurant was closed. Stairs seemed sticky. Non-smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke (we asked for a can of air freshener and were provided one), sheets were stained, door was damaged, didn't want to shut or open properly and was also sticky. Some of the other "guests" appeared to be full time homeless occupants. This would be commendable at a shelter or hostel and provided we had not paid full price to stay there. Other occupants had a loud birthday party in the courtyard complete with music and management seemed unconcerned about the fact that this was after 10 pm. I realize this hotel is an older structure as I stayed there 30 years ago but from the outside the Hampton Inn next door would be a better bet. I would advise against staying here unless you're able to stay for free.

The hotel is in a good location. However it was very unclean. The toilet sink was clogged and in general did not look clean.
