Great hotel! Nice breakfast

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years as we have family in the area. For the last couple of stays, the overall condition of the hotel has really deteriorated. During this visit, upon arrival the room contained only 2 towels and 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. We had to request more to equal the number of guests in our room. One day, we didn’t have our room cleaned-our choice-and asked the front desk for more towels. The person on duty said there were no more just to bring our dirty ones to the front desk to be washed. What!?! My husband went to ride an exercise machine and it was broken. It has been broken for the last two years we’ve visited. Our room was a one bedroom suite. The outer lounge area did not have a tv. The only tv was located in the bedroom. We always book this type of room so know to expect a tv in the lounge area. It unfortunately appears this hotel poorly managed and/or is facing difficult times and lacks money to purchase towels, fix broken equipment, and replace room amenities. This will be our last visit to this site.

This HIE is a waste of your money. O checked in and was greeted by a woman at the front desk who was clearly having a bad day and seemed determined to male sure everyone else did as well. Upon getting to my room I could smell an odor, similar to disinfectant. I saw the clock radio was not plugged in so I did it. I found it did not work. I turned on the TV and got the message no signal. I called the front desk and got no answer. I left to go out to eat and stopped by the front desk. I told them about the TV issue and was told they would send someone up. No one ever showed up. In the morning, I turned the water on for s shower. No hot water. I again went to the front desk. The person there said let it run for 10 to 15 minutes. I did and the water got warm, not hot. I saw behind the door there was long dark hair on the floor. My hair is short and gray. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was clogged up and needed to be wiped down. The food was passable, but the disinfectant smell was present in the breakfast area. In reading the reviews on this hotel I saw the hot tub has not been in operation in months. It is a sorry excuse for a Holiday Inn Express. I saw in the online reviews everyone gets an apology from the hotel GM which is nothing but balloon juice. She does not care and noting gets fixed. Holiday Inn corperate should look into closing this place. It is disgusting.

Staff was friendly, beds/pillows were too soft making it too uncomfortable to sleep in.

Hotel was filthy and run down. Halls reeked of marijuana but they said there was no smoking on the premises. I had to wear my flip flops in the room because the carpet was stained and the bathroom floor was sticky. Party of the cloth shower curtain was torn off and the window curtain was horribly stained.

So dirty, unfriendly staff, moldy bathrooms, hot tub broken, no extra towels, ceiling broken in pool area.

Carpets are not clean
