Hampton Inn & Suites Chesapeake-Battlefield Boulevard

Loved the staff, the breakfast was awesome and very close to businesses. The sleeper sofa was comfortable while my kids were fine with the bed. It was too hard for me. I am overweight and have back problems and most hotels have firm beds. The pool was awesome everything was clean

This hotel is highly overpriced for the quality of the rooms. I paid over 310.00 for a room in Chesapeake. Ridiculous. 310.00+ is a price for a VERY nice room. This hotel offers rooms that feature tiles that are separated, dirty tiles in corners where the common mop doesn't go, old caulk, cheap shower heads and in my case a bed that very much felt like a bad mattress support by some springs and plywood. Without cutting open the mattress to find out why it felt this way, I can say it was not a great mattress. for a 300.00 room, you'd expect a nice bed. I can only think the price they charge is because there is very little competition in the area. I advise anyone looking for a room on Battlefield Blvd to keep looking or at least find a place not on Battlefield Blvd. After all, this hotel is NOT on the beach. I felt so violated to pay the price but I had been driving for more than 8 hours and desperately needed a place to sleep. On the britght side, there are a number of restaurants and Sams behind the hotel which give a visitor a few choices of where to eat.

Quiet and friendly staff

Arrived on Thursday, by Saturday , came in at 2:00pm. No Clean Towels,washcloths,trash baskets were not emptied,Bed linings were not changed or made up. Went to front desk for room to get towels washcloths ect. for room service, said they would take care of it. waited a hour and told them again. We went back out and came back in at 7:30pm. Nothing was Done! Paid for this service! Checked out early Sunday Morning! Will not be back!!

Clean & Employees Services

Friendly staff, clean room. Stayed with 4 total, same room. Immediately after booking, called hotel, requested extra linens for sofa bed, ensure enough towels for room, and request early check-in. No towels or linens, and it took 5 attempts to even get the linens. Room wasn’t ready and we waited nearly an hour. Small but frustrating from a Hilton-branded property. Overall it was a good stay with a good free breakfast.

Not easy access

*Great location and rooms were big! *The room was well air conditioned and had a lot of space. *The breakfast options were good-but the hot items were not restocked quickly. *Check in and check out were quick and easy. *Plenty of parking

*The couch in the room was disgusting with stains all over it. *The hot tub had a gross green color. *The doors in the room were very difficult to open and close. * The toilet made an awful sound every time it flushed-so it woke up family all night. *The shower got water all over the floor and there was no way to avoid it. *It is advertised that they have Netflix and Disney plus-but you had to enter your own account info-so that was false advertising. *The pool area had no air conditioning-so they propped a door open (100 degrees outside so it didn't really help). Made me feel unsafe when alone in the pool area with my young son-anyone could walk into the pool from the parking lot without using their key card. *The decor and the elevators need updating.
