Problems #1: The check-in is at 3:00, rather than the standard 11:00, or 10:00 with an "early check-in". #2: Way too many smokers smoking in their rooms next to non-smoking rooms. #3: The gym is the size of a telephone booth. #4: The unisex spa is out in the open with naked people walking around (some may not consider this a problem). #5: There are smokers standing outside of the hotel in front of the narrow main entrance all of the time. #6: There is no bellboy/porter. #7: Room rate was way too high (+$600 p/n) for a 3-star hotel. (Listed as a 4-star). #8: Bed in room was supposed to be a queen, when it is a wide twin. Good Things #1 The breakfast chef...amazing eggs & cheerful no-nonsense disposition. #2 The design of the room. Although small, really well designed & nice materials/finishes. #3 The cleanliness. #4 The food. Really good.

The Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel, within walking distance from the main station which is 15 mins from the Airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was recently refurbished and very comfortable. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Great hotel, room was very spacious, bed and bed linen was heavenly could of stayed in bed all weekend. The bathrobe and slippers were a nice touch but as there was two guests we could of done with one each.Breakfast was plentiful, however it wasn’t until our 3rd morning that we realised you could have a cooked option. This wasn’t explained to us. Lovely reception area with a very welcome log fire. Overall we had a nice stay.

I will try and avoid staying in future - too expensive and the cancellation policy is poor

It was a great stay. Staff was very friendly and the food and drink were great. The one issue was that we were not given the wifi code at check in and had to get that resolved later. Overall great location and experience.

I stayed here in summer and this hotel has extremely poor air conditioning. They override the thermostat so no settings, even temperature, cannot be changed. In addition it is on an automatic timer and turns off at odd times. After complaining several times no one was sent to fix it or solve the problem. Furthermore, they have a really bad breakfast spread in the morning where they serve cold cut meats and cheap old supermarket baked goods. Go stay elsewhere.

Hotel very near centre and station with easy parking next to hotel so no need to use the car again. Really comfy beds and a great spacious room although bathroom quite small in comparison. Lovely breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Would love to stay again.

I stayed at the hotel to attend the Hannover Messe conference. I was very happy that the location to the train station was only five minutes walk away. I was able to get to the conference daily and took my day trip to Berlin. The staffs are wonderful and very helpful with directions and anything I needed. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was great as well.

Friendly staff who made you feel welcome and were very helpful.The rooms were clean,quiet and comfortable.Hotel was a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Hannover and I would stay again.
