Candlewood Suites Springfield by IHG

I was put in an accessible room (not needed) Bathroom had no shelf or counter for toiletries , shower soap dispenser was broken, shower was hand held and very low pressure.

Clean, inviting, comfortable, great staff.

Was not so easy to get to.

Everyone was very friendly, beds were comfy. Location was easy in and out. It was very clean

only had 2 chairs and 1 patio table need more outdoor seating

Quiet and convenient

The staff was wonderful. The rooms have everything. Plenty to eat within walking distance.

treadmill in gym was out of service for my entire 17 day stay.

This hotel was in an area that did not appear as nice as I expected it to be. This might be true for the Springfield area in general though. The room was decent though there was something on the counter in the bathroom that looked and felt like dried soap but it was a larger area and in a location that didn’t make sense to have been caused by a bar of soap. My mom suspected it could have had something to do with people smoking in there though nothing smelled like smoke. The rack above the toilet where the towels were was tilted because it was coming off the wall. It was chrome and where it was chipped it was rusted. So just in general not an experience I’d expect from a hotel with a “fabulous” review but still a decent stay.
