Guest House Les 3 Metis

Overall Les 3 Metis is a nice hotel and we would not hesitate to stay there again. You have to take a taxi to get to places, and there is not much shopping around the hotel area.

Accueil agréable du personnel , les chambres sont propres et les services impeccables. Après avoir effectué plusieurs séjours dans cet établissement , je suis toujours satisfait des prestations à l'issue de chaque passage.

Tana is very busy city, confusing to find your way. Tres Metis is a very pleasant place that is extremely clean. Staff is both helpful and highly courteous. Restaurant has mixture of French-inspired and local dishes, very well done with local ingredients. We highly recommend it for anyone who has to stay in Anatananarivo.

séjour de 9 nuits, matelas un peu trop dur et télévision presque illisible. Le restaurant très agréable, bonne nourriture, propre, personnel au top., mais les prix des repas sont trop élevés par rapport à d'autres restaurants très attrayants et de bonne qualité à Tana.

Nous avons passé 10 jours à cet hôtel. Cet hôtel a un beau décor rustique et nous avions une très belle vue sur la ville de notre chambre, d'ailleurs c'était très agréable de prendre notre café tous les matins sur notre balcon. Le personnel est très accueillant et nous tenons à remercier particulièrement Ravo et Jean-Pierre. Nous avons eu un très bon service et la nourriture était en général très bonne. Par contre, petit conseil pour les québécois: prévoir une petite place dans votre valise pour un pot de "beurre de peanut"; après quelques jours à choisir entre un croissant ou un pain baguette au petit-déjeuner (il y avait d'autres choix au menu mais nous ne sommes pas de gros mangeurs au lever), nous avions un peu la nostalgie d'une bonne toast avec du bon beurre de peanut dessus.

I was pleasantly surprised that the deluxe king bed room was enormous. The bed was comfortable and the shower was the best of the 7 Madagascar hotels in which I stayed on this trip. The LCD television has 6 channels, all in French. There is no mosquito net, but the room is equipped with an electric device into which you insert a repellant strip; this does not work well, particularly in a room with this large amount of space. Wifi internet is available at no extra charge throughout the premises. Out of the front entrance and across the intersection is a small convenience store where you can get snacks and beverages more economically. Food and beverage at the hotel are reasonably priced and the meals quite good.

During our stay in Madagascar we used 3 metis as our base - we came back 4 times and I spend 7 nights there in total. It is really a wonderful place with very friendly and helpful staff. It is located very good, with nice views and shops all around. It is even not to far to walk directely to Lac Anosy for example (takes probably 45 minutes). And it is really good price (if you are more than 1 person...). All aother hotels is this price cateory would be really less comfortable... We really loved it there!!!
