Os quartos não tinham ar condicionado o que pode incomodar em dias de maior calor (é disponibilizada uma ventoinha). O serviço no bar podia ser mais eficiente. Não servem comida na esplanada ou numa das zonas interiores, serviço por vezes lento considerando a quantidade de staff e clientes.

Place was spotless and staff are amazing

Short trip into the town centre would need to drive or take taxis. We stayed for 3 nights and only went into town once. Hotel was sufficient

Loved the location, staff were lovely and food was also lovely. Booked a lake view but the room was not as expected..it was a partial lake view.

The bed, (mattress) was so hard we didn't sleep. It needs a topper or a new mattress. The duvet didn't fit the bed either, although it was long enough it just wasn't wide enough.

This hotel is in a beautiful location on a lake. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the lake. Many different sitting areas to relax indoor and outdoor. Breakfast was very good, fresh local ingredients. Would definatly stay again, ideal for families with watersports on the lake.

The bar was busy and noisy but other alternatives available.

Amazing value for a two-night stay. Before arriving i booked in to a wine tasting experience. Shout out to andre. It was a lovely extra. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The room itself could benefit from a bit of updating, but it was comfortable and did not take away from the overall experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Great spot so much to do around the area golf , water sports and so many hikes and trails brilliant and hotels in a ideal spot , room we got had amazing view of the lakes and food was gorgeous and staff very friendly and helpful, its a great spot to reset and relax especially because were a little bit older , but tons to do if you have kids

Quite a pleasant, warm, welcoming & comfortable and relaxing atmosphere at the hotel. I have a visual impairment and require assistance with some tasks. The staff were helpful with assisting myself while ordering food and drinks. The main resuraunt has a varied menu to suit most palates. There is a fine selection of wines, champagne and speciality coctails available also. The room overlooking the lake was warm, the bed was really comfortable and the view of Hodson Bay lake was a joy to awake to. The highlight of my stay was most definitely the use of the swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool. There is also a sauna and steam room on site which is open up until 8pm. The surrounding lands and areas are stunning and you can enjoy many walks, trails and outdoor activities while staying at the hotel. All in all, I had a really nice relaxing time at the Hodson Bay Hotel. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in the Athlone area.
