Mbuyuni Beach Village - Bungalows

Le site au bord de la plage, calme total avec vue illimitée sur la mer, canapés et mobilier qui permettent de rester bien confortable en front de mer. La beauté du jardin et le style authentique des bungalows. La cuisine : très savoureuse, très grande qualité des produits, mélange occidental / local (par exemple Mbuyuni Buddha Bowl, steak de thon croquant aux copeaux de coco, Ginger tea : un délice !), générosité. La piscine.

Le seul bémol est qu'on est dans un lagon sans profondeur. Il n'y a aucun récif à proximité, donc pas de snorkelling possible. On peut juste faire trempette à marée haute dans 1/2 mètre d'eau.

Mbuyuni Beach Village è davvero un luogo magico dove è veramente possibile staccare la spina e rilassarsi. Si trova isolato rispetto ad altre zone vicine più turistiche che distano pochi km. La spiaggia è fortemente soggetta alle maree quindi consiglio di verificare il calendario prima della partenza; il paesaggio cambia di giorno in giorno ed è molto caratteristico. All'interno del villaggio è possibile usufruire della piscina comune agli altri ospiti, pulita e molto carina. Idem gli spazi esterni nel giardino. La parte più bella nonché il fulcro del villaggio è sicuramente il ristorante che offre pietanze davvero squisite e ben presentate con ottime varianti anche veggy e cocktails/smoothies/succhi di frutta fresca buonissimi. Lo staff è gentilissimo e super disponibile. Servizi molto buoni. Davvero consigliato per chi cerca la tranquillità, la pace e il silenzio e non la movida che tuttavia è raggiungibile a soli 5 min in taxi nelle spiagge più vicine di Paje e Jambiani. Questo luogo mi mancherà e spero di tornarci prima o poi! Asante sana 🩷

La camera me l'aspettavo più spaziosa e ariosa. Alcune aree comuni potrebbero essere più curate, lo stesso per l' arredamento e la pulizia della camera.

Die Lage ist toll, genau zwischen Paje und Jambiani. Bei Ebbe kann man wunderbar am Strand in beide Richtungen spazieren. Die Cocktails sind der Hammer und das Abendessen bei der Halbpension ist SUPER! Die Anlage ist eigentlich wunderbar und hat viel Potential. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Der kleine, dunkle Bungalow hat sehr nach Schimmel gerochen. Das Bett war übel, das Kopfkissen ein einziger Klumpen, das Netz bestand mehr aus Löchern (dementsprechend waren auch Tierchen im Bett), die Bettwäsche war fleckig und teils kaputt. Die Tür war mal notdürftig repariert worden und das Schloss hätte eigentlich keinen Schlüssel gebraucht - Sicherheit also nicht vorhanden. Am Strand wird man sofort von diversen Verkäufern belagert.

I have stayed at Mbuyuni Beach Village several times over the last decade or so and loved it from the first time. There have been some small changes over the years, and it it is a little bigger, but it remains rustic, comfortable, and real value for money. The staff are excellent: smiling, friendly, and helpful. The food is mostly very good. The pool is available for when the tide is out, and the general environment is beautiful and well established. You can use it as a base for exploring the island, or you can just chill. It isn't necessary to go elsewhere for anything unless you choose to do so. I will definitely return again.

The staff were not at all friendly! It really spoilt the place. Like they couldn’t be bothered or just didn’t want to be there . We only stayed a night and left due to the negative vibe

I enjoyed very much my stay in Mbuyuni. The staff is incredible! I spent 14 days there and I didn't have any problem. The place is calm, beautifully rustic and in a good distance from Jambiani and Paje. It's perfect if you are looking for peaceful and calm stay.

The lack of internet connection in the rooms
