Bugs… but that was to be expected

We had the best time on our romantic getaway. We enjoyed Kayaking, feeding horses and riding in to town for a coffee. It was so nice to light the fire, enjoy the Kangaroos from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable.

We love the privacy, the natural beauty and comfort of the location of the honeymoon cottage at Lake Weyba. Every year they make small improvements that mean that the comfort of the stay is maintained at a high level.

There were just some tiny things like having a dishcloth to wash dishes and wipe down benches and not just a scrubbing pad. Maybe one more toilet paper roll would have been good.

The staff were fantastic, the facilities were fabulous and free of charge, the room was almost perfect, the cottages are well secluded from each other. The horses and alpacas are adorable. There was free firewood and lighters, canoes, bikes and board games.

There is some scope to increase the general cleanliness but this was minor. We recommend that the towels and linen are washed on a slightly hotter wash. Although, when this was brought up with the staff, they were quick to offer new towels free to charge. The service is impeccable. The cleaning of the place could only slightly be improved - i.e., vacuuming and cleaning of the roof etc.

The perfect switch off. Exactly what we were after. And the free upgrade to the honeymoon suite was greatly appreciated! Kangaroos so close was lovely too.
