Rose In Vale Country House Hotel

A lovely country house hotel in a beautiful tranquil location. The owner is outstanding and went out of his way to arrange various tickets for us. Happy to recommend to the discerning traveler.

.room was impossible to sleep in with the heat,a small fan was given,but having a fan on you all night...Looked forward to eating in the restaurant but never used it after finding out a dress code was in use,shame.we ate out instead and never felt at ease at the the hotel after that.

What a find ! A wonderful secret place to get away from it all..Good facilities and a wonderful restaurant.

We felt the room was very clean and well presented however you could hear the room next door every movement which did effect our overall experence. The food was very good the breakfast first rate.

Stayed here on the recent long 4 day bank holiday weekend - was very cute, quiet, and charming. The grounds are very well kept, and so are the rooms. My only reservation is the breakfast - it wasn't that great, which is a shame. Just could of been more tasty, wholesome and original. Don't get me wrong it wasn't terrible, but I just wouldn't have breakfast there again if i had the choice. We never tried the Lunch or Dinner. On our stay we drove around up and down the coast to places like St Ives in the South West and Polzeath in the North East - hotel was very well located to access the roads and to get going. St Agnes is a cute little village - i would recommend a short drive to St Anges beach/sea front which is like 7mins drive away through the country lanes, well worth the visit. Best fish and chips in town and the Coffee shop Genki is one not to miss!

The location of this hotel was just beautiful, upon arrival the owner came out to help us with our bags, then sat and talked with us whilst we had a drink in the bar.The rooms were simply amazing, beautifully decorated and very clean. The food was also very good and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

dinner in restaurant very good - staff helpful and friendly. beds comfortable, room quite small but good quality furniture and bath and shower high quality. very quiet and peaceful location. Ideal for walking and visiting cornwall

Das ehemalige Landhaus wurde vor Jahren durch Anbauten enorm vergrössert. Dadurch ist es heute ein gepflegtes, luxeriöses , aber auch etwas unpersönlicheres Hotel. Das Zimmer war zwar im ersten Stock hatte aber keine Aussicht. (Steiles Wiesenbord) Objektiv gibt es wenig zu bemängeln. Die Fotos vom alten Herrenhaus täuschen aber ein spezielleres Ambiente vor.
