Aroa Beachside Resort

The property is showing is age and it looks old and tired. The location of a bar adjacent to rooms means the chances of an early sleep are limited. The venue although somehow has previously been rated as 4 stars is closer to 2/3. For the price there are far better options available within the immediate area so I would encourage others to explore there options before booking here.

The staff were very pleasant. The lagoon is beautiful.

The whole resort is very run down. Both rooms had leaky ceilings. Towels were definitely past their use by date, threadbare, stained and smelly as soon as used. The breakfast was below expectation. The breakfast type was not stipulated however it was below expectations even for a continental. Single bed in one room was very uncomfortable. It was not good value for money.

We enjoyed the convenience of the restaurant and bar on site, the pool was Devine and the staff absolutely amazing. We will be back👍

The whole place was awesome! Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice deck to relax on. The pool area is also amazing with a stunning view of the ocean. Eating dinner in the bar/restaurant area was also great as it looks out over the beach. Couple of nights we at dinner at the picnic tables on the beach. And the staff were 11/10 - nothing was a problem, always welcomed us with a smile, and made us feel at home the second we arrived. We’ve already booked to stay here again next year.

Nothing!! It might not be fancy, but it sure is one of my fav places to stay.

Good location- within walking distance of a local food store. Good room amenities: fridge and microwave.

Loud music at bar at night. Cocktails were not good. I had to wait 1 hour for local taxi to airport - hotel owner knew driver but didn’t berate him.
