Ants were all over the room. A terrible place.

Room had trash in it. Lamp wire broken and exposed wires. Pool room smelled. No food selection. Checked out early and 2 weeks later still waiting on my refund. Everyone has to talk to the manager.

ANTS EVERYWHERE!!! It started on our bed side nights stands. They were in the bed with us! The worst was breakfast in the morning, they were over and in everything! The lady at checkout informed us they were there because of the syrup. But it was clearly an issue that wasn’t being resolved anytime soon. Way overpriced for a King Suite to be sharing they entire stay with ants all over the place. Trying not to sound like spoiled human beings, we know ants are a thing but we really should have took more pictures before we left just to show the real magnitude of the problem.

Staff was great, but definitely needed room updates and was not properly cleaned in the room.

The staff was pleasant and the room was fairly priced. The breakfast was a little disappointing, the coffee was alway empty and there was no milk for the cereal. All in all I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

Don’t walk away from this one….RUN. Rooms are filthy and front desk attendant was the rudest I have ever encountered. She Tried to blame the dirty room on me. I could go on and on about how bad she was. Expedia called her to cancel my room and she said she wasn’t authorized then told me she is the manager’s wife. I ended up walking out as she was telling me to take the pillows back to the room that I had brought to show her how dirty they were.

The rooms and buildings were pretty nice actually. The AC was not blowing cold at all and it had been left off for who knows how long so it was VERY hot in there. The AC did not cool in the least. We decided to go to the pool and it was cold. We asked about the heater and she said it wqs broken. Next morning we come down for breakfast at 8:20 AM and it was cleaned up. We asked them about breakfast and they said it was over. I then showed them the sign about 10' from where she said it was over and she then asked what we wanted. She then said it closes at 8:45 which was confusing. The smoke detector was missing and wires hanging down. Both comforters had hair on them. Bathroom door would not shut. Aside from this the place was actually OK. Very clean for the most part.

Upon checkin arrival for our planned 4-night stay, we asked to see the room. The first-floor handicapped accessible room shown to us was dirty. Paint was peeling in large swathes from ceiling and walls. Feces from a previous user floated in the toilet. While waiting for the employee to change rooms, I walked down the hallway to walk the dogs. The exit/entrance door at back of property did not latch. The door latch mechanism was broken. After seeing that the second room was also dirty and blazing hot at 91 degrees in June, we decided we would not stay. The employee refused to cancel the reservation, refused to give a printed receipt of the transaction and insisted on charging us for staying 1 night when we hadn't stayed at all! The "manager" was called. After 30 minutes wait, he arrived and offered to put us in the "best" room if we would just stay 1 night. We explained again what happened and he agreed to give us a full refund. The next day our bank records showed that Clarion (formerly SureStay) on Elpers Road charged us the full 4-nights stay. Despite phone calls to "Rick" the manager, we have to go through the process of dealing directly with our bank to remove the fraudulent charges. Recommend to AVOID this dirty, unsafe unscrupulous property. Spend the extra $20/night at the Hampton Inn by the Airport instead. For clean, safe and comfortable lodgings.
