Waiheke Waterfront Lodge

nothing, as communication with owners did leave a bitter taste. we do not like that the property discriminates against children. the No children policy was not very prominently displayed upon booking. will not recommend for families

no children policy.

Incredibly kept property with breathtaking views from our bedroom. Pip, Andy and Maureen were very accommodating and friendly and made our stay feel like we were at home away from home. We utilised the on-site e-bikes to explore the island, the car(s), golf clubs and Kayaks. Also, they have their breakfast offerings down pat! Speaking of 'pat', me and my partner loved the daily dog patting of Van and Pepper - the darling duo of Poodles.

When we had to leave.

We had a lovely time at the lodge - we stayed over the Christmas holiday and were treated like family by Andy and Pip. The ability to borrow a car or e-bikes as well as have a great backyard to hang out in made it an easy place to relax and enjoy our downtime between beaches and wineries. The breakfast and honor bar were a really nice touch.

Immaculate property, very well appointed with gorgeous waterfront rooms. Definitely luxury! Pip and Andy are lovely and very helpful. They have thought of everything you can need to have a special stay.

Everything from the neighborhood and it’s scenery to the hospitality and attention to detail by the couple who runs it.. the quality of the food as well as the rooms and everything overall was very luxurious. When I stayed there I felt as if I was treated as royalty.

Can’t really say anything bad about the place or the people.

Just spent a wonderful 3 nights at the lodge. Hosts Pip and Andy are top notch, professional inkeepers. The lodge is a beautiful modern structure that sits across the road from the bay. The views from the rooms are great. Pip prepares a delicious breakfast for guests. Includes homemade muesli, yougurt, fruit, coffee any style, egg dish (omelette, burrito, fritatta) , smoothy, juice and toast. Pip gives great guidance on walk / trail selection. Just tell her how long you wish to go for, and she will draw it out on the map. There is a compete gym setup in the garage. Everything you could want to work out. Electric bikes are available as well. The common areas of the lodge include dining room, living room, den and very nice backyard with jacuzzi. The rooms are spectacular. New furnishings, nice beds, rain shower, and other amenities. Highly recommend!

Stunning location, fabulous hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasurable, great room with all the trimmings and beautiful breakfasts (with our special requirements catered for so well). Thanks Pip and Andy. We will be back
