Great stay, comfortable room

pool was out of order and we had booked our stay there primarily for the pool. It did not say online the pool was not in use.

Our room was excellent - new, clean and sensibly laid-out. We slept well both nights on a very comfortable bed. Staff was helpful, courteous and efficient. All parts of the facility that we saw were well maintained. Breakfast was very expensive at a Starbucks-oriented bistro. (Over $42 for 2 people for nothing special.) Also, unlike many hotels these days there was no free coffee in a public area. The coffee we could make in our room was all dark roast, which we don't like, and there was no tea (so I was glad to have brought my own). Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay convenient to the event we attended.

Location was easy to find. Really nice lobby. Our room had a very unique style love seat. Very nice room. Would stay again.

Our neighbors where loud did not complain. No coffee in lobby. Foof option too expensive. No help at all finding a cab.

Booked a suite at this property through Expedia since we were traveling with our 17 year old and needed the extra space. Was told by the front desk upon checking in (after realizing they only gave us a normal room) that I was wrong and I had to contact Expedia directly, even though I showed her the receipt from Expedia that clearly said one king suite with the pullout sofa. She said that there was nothing that she could do and when I asked if I could speak to her manager, she said she was the only one there. So I proceeded to call Expedia and the man I spoke to was incredibly rude, yelling at me and saying there was nothing he could do other than charge me the huge cancellation fee and book me in another hotel in the area that is $675. He hung up on me three times. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said no, and hung up. My husband and I were about to just leave and when we went back down to the front desk to give her our room keys she said that she was able to make changes to our reservation and was actually able to get us into a suite afterall. Room was fine other than we had no hot water and couldn’t shower or anything and a different woman told us that we had to wait for it to warm up because the hotel was really full and everyone was using the shower at the same time. What!? It was literally the worst experience at a hotel and also dealing with Expedia that I’ve ever had and will never stay at another Marriott and will absolutely never use Expedia again.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable beds. Would recommend
