Le point négatif de l’île c’est le mur qui entour l’île, aucune plage ouverte sur le large

We spent 8 unforgettable days at Ellaidhoo Maldives and it truly exceeded all our expectations – it was not only a holiday, but also the place where we had our wedding on the beach, making it the most special trip of our lives. Location Ellaidhoo Island is about a 1.5-hour speedboat ride from Malé. The island is set in a breathtaking, picturesque environment – a real paradise on Earth. The beaches are clean and well maintained, surrounded by the most beautiful turquoise ocean. Although there is a breakwater around parts of the island – which initially concerned us when choosing the resort – in the end it did not disturb the view or the overall experience at all. Room We stayed in a Water Bungalow with a private terrace overlooking the ocean. It featured an outdoor shower and toilet, a spacious indoor bathroom, a comfortable double bed and a sofa. In the entrance area there is a plexiglass floor panel where you can watch the marine life – we even saw a shark swimming beneath us. The ocean is accessed from the jetty next to the bungalow rather than directly from the terrace. Compared to the ocean-view rooms (where our friends stayed), the water is slightly less direct to enter, but the bungalow is more spacious and the private terrace makes it absolutely worth it. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job every day – always greeting us with a smile in advance. Marine life We have never seen so many fish and such a variety of species in one place before. The coral reef is stunning. Within two days I had already seen every bucket-list animal I had hoped for: dolphins (one morning they were jumping in front of our terrace), countless reef sharks, several types of rays and a sea turtle. It was beyond anything we imagined. Excursions & activities We joined four programs and loved all of them: • Dolphin safari – about a 2-hour boat trip where we saw dolphins up close. 100% worth it.

The resort is in an amazing position few meters swimming from the coral reef. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. Staff super kind, service excellent and transfers quick and on time. Meals every day different and delicious

Diving center has very high costs which i think is common in Maldives and prices do not include tax and services that must be then added making calculations hard as each item is considered separately. Better to bring the equipment than renting. Excursions are on very nice boats but highly focused. For instance, if it is the manta ray excursion, a lot of time is spent to swim with them and no other stops are included to observe the reef. This is good if the plan is to go back for lunch to the resort but having lunch on the boat and then coming back without any other stop is a bit of a waste in case of AI formula and also considering the price of the excursion.

cibo ottimo sia colazione che pranzi camere ben attrezzate e ottima pulizia

le camere adiacenti non hanno un ottima insonorizzazione e in caso di rumori da altra stanza si sente tutto e diventa rumoroso
