Monte Carlo Luxury Condominiums

Monte Carlo is a perfect retreat located right off the downtown area just walking distance from the beach and all the shopping and dining. It is a quiet family friendly place with only 14 units, and the 24 hour attendants provide the top service and security you could ask for!

There is so much to say about this property, Costa Rica in general, the people, the culture and the experience of visiting the country if you have never been there. This property is very nice and is definitely “luxury”, at least compared to what is around it. It would not be considered “luxury” if you are expecting something you would find in a luxury resort in the US or Europe but for Jaco Beach this is really nice. The town of Jaco Beach is a beach town that has a number of surfer/beach restaurants, bars, and little shops that are within walking distance but be very careful when walking because the sidewalks are in poor condition and its easy to trip on a broken or uneven surface. The people are wonderful, helpful and kind, not only in the condo office and grounds but everywhere. The economy of this small beach town is very dependent upon tourists and most of the people in the service industry treat you like they want you to come back. Cristian and all the staff at Monte Carlo are outstanding and deserving of the highest rating that can be assigned. We ate at a different restaurant (there are many to choose from) every night and we had wonderful meals everywhere. The restaurant/bars on the beach will provide a beautiful sunset dinner if you get there in time. Be prepared for some local “chill” culture when it comes to service attentiveness in most establishments. If you are used to very quick service just know their culture is to work and play at a slower pace.

Our stay at this condominium complex was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly friendly and very personable. We would return to stay here in a hot second! I really appreciate everything they did to make us feel comfortable.

This property was just what we were looking for. The condo was clean; the location was quiet and in walking distance if great restaurants. All the staff were very helpful and organized tours that picked us up on time. I would recommend these accommodations for anyone staying at Jaco beach.

the property was very nice. we actually had a patio on floor level that had the pool right in front, very nice. would stay here again security was nice and on 24 hours. really quiet place. my only gripe was the shower. both shower heads didn't put out much water and after day # 3 it got old. overall this was a very nice place to stay

We started our trip in La Fortuna. We spend 10 days hiking in the rain forest and all around Arenal. Its was a wonderful time but tiresome. I booked 3 days at the beach to relax before we came home. Didn't want to feel like we needed a vacation from our vacation. We were looking forward to a trip to the beach were we could take it easy for a few days before going home. When arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff. The property itself was very pretty and walking distance to everything. The condo had very uncomfortable furniture. We wanted a relaxing stay with early dinners and back to the room to read, watch movies or play cards. The couch was nice to look at but was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. The beds were ok at best. The linens were a little scratchy and pillows were hard. Overall the stay was fine but not at all what we wanted.

Nice staff, pretty clean. Only thing I disliked is that they would not like my guests come in until after 10pm which totally sucked. Even when I added some guest to their list and said they are my friends from next door.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The only bad part is paying for additional guest but everything is there that you would need inside the condo. Great experience!
