Lovely setting, very charming place. Enjoyed the river views. They must resolve the issue with their wild monkeys coming into the rooms though.

The rooms were large and very clean. Staff were very friendly and the wine tasting was superb. Five small glasses of wine with a small cheese board, all wines were linked to Granny Mouse and Leslie was very interesting and informative. Slightly disappointed that the both pools were in the shade during the times of day we were there, as were the balconies (this was late afternoon and I the morning). Overall great for a stop over!

The degustation menu in Eaves Restaurant was outstanding and the wines each course was paired with were excellent. Staff all very helpful and polite Our room was lovely with a nice view - beautiful maintained gardens We recommend this hotel

"Christmas in the Natal Midlands "

Granny Mouses is a country style house which is great for a short break. We were there over the Christmas period for two nights. Very comfortable room and good food. We have been here before for Christmas and this time it lacked a festive atmosphere. They are however undergoing some renovations.

"Fairytale feeling when staying at Granny Mouse "

It was simply amazing 😀. An escape from hustle & bustle of city life. Ideal getaway to relax & rejuvenate in the peace & quiet of the country side. Staff were hospitable & very accommodating to all our needs.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly. Andre ,the manager on our arrival moved us to a downstairs room when he saw that we were an elderly couple. The breakfast was beautifully presented and and had an amazing variety. The Spa treatments were very professionally done and most enjoyable. We will go back again without hesitation.

"Granny mouse"

The rooms were fantastic as well and views.. The dinning area is abit rustic and could of been a little more comfortable. The fine dining restaurants food wasn't the greatest... But over all a nice weekend away
