Shower and curtains not very clean

Everyone was really helpful, had problems with my reservation at my own expense, but the front desk was helpful and getting everything straight and also called the other property to check for early check-in which the other property allowed myself in and my wife to get there and check in before check-in time I will always be grateful.

When we arrived the desk agent was very nervous and unsettled through the entire check in process. When it came to providing my credit card, she told me that I was going to be charged the full amount for the room. I told her that I thought I had paid in advance through booking.com and she said that that was not the case. I went to the room to check in and then realized that I did pay in advance. I went back to show her and again she was very nervous and unaware of what to do. When I got back to the hotel after grabbing something to eat, she had a manager there that told me that the credit card charge is only for incidentals. Also, there was a lot of sketchy people staying there that were very loud and did not seem safe. I would not stay here again.

The toilet in the bathroom was dirty had black marks around the toilet bowl. The bath tub had rust stain color in it. The refrigerator was cold at all. The bed sheets had stains on it. The remote and telephone in the room was so dusty and dirty. Overall the room was clean.

We stayed here for one night, a family of five, and we would like to stay longer: the room is good, bright enough, and modern furniture, quiet, breakfast good, the children liked the hotel pool (indeed more than the last two hotel pools on this trip), laundry machine worked (different from the last hotel). I don’t know if I ever will come back to Lafayette, but I would use this hotel again. Now on to the next destination and hope that hotel is also good.
