Glendower House

My second stay at Glendower House and just as good as my first. I could say slightly better as the en suite had been refurbished over winter. The breakfast was lovely and Peter was very accommodating to my dietary needs. I would look to stay at the Glendower anytime I needed bed and breakfast in Minehead.

It was cosy and comfortable and the hosts were exceptional. I felt well looked after and they were very accommodating of my dietary requirements too. Great location and a perfect place to recover after the coast path.

Lovely breakfast! Peter, fabulous host, cooked a delicious full vegan breakfast. Plus, there was a good selection of continental items as well to supplement. The location was perfect - 11 minute walk to Aurora Foxes where I worked for 3 days and a 10 walk to the Alcomb for my favourite Tandoori for my evening meals.

Nothing! One of the most comfortable business stays I've had for a long time. I will not hesitate to book again.

Glendower House is such a lovely place to stay. The welcome is very warm, as is the house (and it was extremely cold outside!). The basics, cleanliness etc., are all there but there are also so many details that make it special, such as the array of fruit available at breakfast, fresh fruit salad, dried fruits etc., and delicious natural yoghurt. It's the same with the cereals and preserves - so much choice. The range and quality of cooked breakfasts are excellent too. And beautiful white tablecloths and napkins - luxury! The house is attractively furnished and decorated (make sure you check out the chandeliers), the host is most pleasant, with a great sense of humour, but never intrusive, there is a nice garden and the location is close to both the beach and the town centre. Oh, and such a powerful and hot shower too! Thank you, Peter and Katryna.

Really, there isn't anything.

What is not too like? Bed comfortable, room clean,fresh and pleasant decor. Breakfast was fantastic,hosts (especially Peter) very helpful,polite and committed.

There was nothing I disliked!

The breakfast was excellent full English perfectly cooked. A wide choice on offer for breakfast

The weather could have been better but that's no fault of the B&B.

Very friendly hosts nothing too much trouble and room was excellent. I paid extra for a bigger room which was absolutely brilliant. Fridge in the room and the hotel supplied milk and tea bags and coffee sachets. Breakfast was excellent a great deal of choice and the English breakfast cooked perfectly. All in all a very good experience and would recommend the hotel to other travellers.

Nothing really very accommodating

Cooked breakfast was available as well as a large choice of cereal and fruit. The guest house was close to the centre of town but in a quiet location.

I think that a grab handle in the shower in my room would have been reassuring.
