Great location, very clean and lovely staff

Nothing everything was perfect

Warm friendly welcome to a beautiful clean spacious room, excellent breakfast, our hosts could not have done more to make our stay better. We would definitely return if we visit Torquay again.

Paula & Ray were very welcoming on our arrival even gave us a nice cuppa tea, which was very nice after our long journey. The Hotel is in a nice quite street and only five minutes walk to the beach, the rooms our very nicely decorated and very clean each room a different colour, also has tea/coffee making facilities, The ensuite is a nice size and you are provided with shower gel etc. The breakfast is excellent with a nice selection of fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and juices and a nice choice for the cooked English breakfast (well cooked by Paula) Her staff are all very polite and helpful. Paula is very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some great tips on where to eat and places to visit she even suggested the 35c bus which stops right outside the hotel. We just can't fault the place, so we gave it a 5* it was a great find, and we will deafently be going back. Mike & Sarah

Delicious breakfast and very comfortable stay

Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Very quiet in a perfect location with just a small walk to the sea front

Bathroom was perhaps a little on the small side.

A lovely place to stay! We booked at the last moment and had a great welcome from Paula and Ray. Room was modern, attractive and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Location is very good for getting to the beach and town as well as getting by road or bus to places outside of Torquay. Definitely recommend!

Great welcome

Great B&B in a quiet location. Clean well decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast with various choices, with cheerful service. Bus stop just up the road, short walk through Tore Abbey grounds to the sea front. Lovely walk along the T-T trail to Cockington village, of thatched houses, through water meadows. Coastal footpath, north to Babbercombe, or south to Paignton. A must is a visit to The Hole in the Wall pub, opposite the clock tower.

A very friendly welcome from Paula and Ray, our room was large, immaculately clean, with a super comfy super king bed. The room appeared newly decorated with thick plush carpets, good curtains, excellent sound proofing from the road (which is not a busy one anyway) massive fluffy towels, rain head shower with good pressure and hot water on demand. Wifi was excellent as was the cooked breakfast, both meat and veggie versions. Really comfortable all round, the two girls serving breakfast were professional and friendly too. Location for us was perfect, slightly on the edge of the town but not so far it was a chore, the walk through the gardens and along the prom into the town centre was extremely pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend The Grosvenor House.
