After a very warm welcome where we were instantly made to feel at home, we took a pleasant 10 minute walk to the marina. Returnig after an evening meal to relax in the comfortable lounge with a couple of G&T's from the well stocked bar. Very friendly and comfortable, excellent breakfast.

The hotel, was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent. It was close to Torre Abbey and the Riviera Centre and within easy walking distance of the centre of Torquay. I would highly recommend this hotel and will book again when I am next in the area. We were lucky in our allocation of room as the en suite was quite luxurious with a Jacuzi (for two) and a large shower. Ample towels of the good quality. and after making use of these, we partook of a wonderful breakfast. Our hosts were very informative of the surrounding area and had numerous leaflets for our daily excursions. A must is the trip by boat to Dartmout.. This is our first holiday in the UK for some time but has made us pause to think of other UK destinations Thank you Pam & Roy for a pleasant stay

A very friendly and comfortable hotel. The rooms were well-appointed and clean. The service was good and the breakfasts varied and tasty. When in Torquay we would definitely stay again

The Hotel was immaculate, the owners had thought of everything. Plenty of towels even cotton buds and cotton balls. The breakfast was superb the menu idea was great. Friendly people, no faults.

The hotelier was really friendly, when we arrived he showed us to our room then made us a very welcome cup of tea (with cake)! He was very helpful with local information and very approachable. The room (and bathroom) was spotlessly clean - we had the room with the whirlpool bath which was fab. I scored the room a 4 as I would have preferred a king bed to a double however the bed very comfortable, and there was ample space to hang/put away your things. Breakfast was good and plentiful - and exactly what we ordered (you have a choice card to complete the night before). They also do evening meals and packed lunches, we did not have these but it was nice to know this service was available. I would certainly consider staying here again.
