Free upgrade to a junior suite which was lovely

Massive water stain on the ceiling, toilet flush is awful

All the staff we came into contact with were superb & very helpful - special mention to the gentleman on reception who gave each of us a bottle of water when we got back from a concert after midnight. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well managed, all food was good. Despite being busy we were never disturbed by any noise from adjoining rooms or in the corridor outside. Ideal location too - easy to navigate the city from here.

A few little things - not all the plug sockets in our room worked - two of them were impossible to actually plug anything into. A USB charging station on the bedside table was welcome....but that didn't work either. A small sign on top of the fridge promised complimentary bottles of water, but there were none at any point during our stay. The ironing board collapsed whilst being used - the catch mechanism to hold the legs in place was faulty - and the toilet flush was very stiff to push. These are all minor issues which didn't specifically impact our stay, but we wouldn't expect them to be an issue for the premium price we paid for a two night stay. We'd come back again, but not for £300+ per night.

Rooms tired, door filthy and missing paint not a good first impression, bedside table several wholes that have been made in wood by previous guest, carpet dirty, net curtains super creased, rooms small and underwhelming, shower tiny, restaurant for brekkie too small, bar too small, overpriced and nothing special

The location is great, comfortable bed, clean toilet. I like the security feel when they limit the access to the hotels to residents only beyond 11pm

The bar was under construction majority of my stay. The kettle in the room was scaling.

Breakfast not included, location busy but ideal for shopping areas and bars and restaurants

Shower cubicles on the small side, personally would do away with the bath and make the shower area much bigger

Crowne plaza is a lovely hotel , breakfast is always good and staff very friendly and accommodating ,bed and pillows were lovely

Definitely need a little care , carpets had a few marks and a little worn , skirting boards could do with a paint

Friendly staff good location breakfast was good

Only one bedside table uncomfortable pillows
