The room was quite small but excellently appointed. Chocolates, fresh homemade cake, and bottled water, refreshed every day. The bed was comfortable, the shower room excellent, and the breakfasts superb! We were spoilt for choice. Fee is a great host too, giving us information about places to go, eat etc.
Camilla house is fabulous. Everything is carefully and tastefully chisen , from the toiletries to the chocolate left in the room . Breakfasts are super too.. Our room , Penberth was comfortable , well decorated and had vuews to the sea.
We are generally hotel people so what a pleasant surprise to realize we are also bed and breakfast people. This was an amazing stay with a great room, very helpful host and a breakfast we still dream of (get the fresh berries). Good restaurants are nearby. Be prepared for a little climb if you are in an upper room.
Central place to stay if visiting the far south west of the County
Beautiful, well appointed character property in a great location near the promenade and with parking and great breakfasts. I was in one of the single rooms, Kynance - not much cat-swinging room, and I wouldn't have wanted to be any taller, but very comfortable, and just about every need catered for.
Perfect location and well maintained. Room was small, but everything was in great condition, clean and good quality. The breakfast was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay at Camilla House. Fee was a great host and has obviously worked very hard to make her property so lovely. The breakfasts were very tasty and we were spoiled with extra treats. The property is well located and just a short walk to the high street. We chose to visit Penzance as it was accessible by train. It also has a good bus service which we used to visit nearby Mousehole, the Minack Theatre and Porthleven. We caught the train to the lovely town of St Ives but could also have reached there by bus.
