Waited over half an hour for breakfast . Host was a miserable person. TV didn't work properly.

It was a wonderful old fashioned B&B style accomodation and the hosts were lovely. The breakfast was delicious!

Choice of cereals, English breakfast. omelette & Toast. Rooms tidy and beds reasonably comfortable. Nice location.

Owners were standoffish when we arrived. My wife called them to ask where we could unload and the male owner said he did not understand our problem? The only apparent drive into the "hotel" was a driveway at the side of their hotel and this was blocked by a car. After the man explained himself a bit more, it turns out there was another entry point to the rear of the hotel, through a "gap" in the fence (and this was unmarked as well). The booking system left out a child and then they complained my 17 year old daughter was an adult, despite the this booking system showing her within the child group. when i pointed this out and the fact that the law still classed her as a child, she then just said, she (the owner) is the law as far as i am concerned and what she says goes. They then regaled how they made another group find another hotel for the same thing? They only let us stay after charging us more money. The husband was rude to my wife and refused to give her the wifi password. The lady insisted to our cousins that their 1 year old child should remain silent whilst in the hotel??? He is one year old for crying out loud!!!!!! The showers go from cold to hot (during the periods of 7am to 9am) as I think the system struggles when people get up to take a shower. I got burnt on the back the first time i used this shower - Be warned! Also, They enter your room after you leave to go out and they systematically TURN OFF ALL THE PLUGS! They could see that I had a small portable fridge in the room, which stored my medication and they purposely turned this off!! This IS NOT a family friendly hotel and i think they are a little racist as my wife and her cousins were from the Philippines and this may be why they treated them in this manner.

The Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were clean. Only met one member of staff who was pleasant enough. Cute cats! 🐾

The mattresses were shocking 😔 I didn't sleep at all. They also had horrid noisy, sweat creating mattress covers that sounded like you were sleeping on a crisp packet 🤦🏼‍♀️ It would have been nice to have seen a breakfast menu of what you had to offer from the kitchen in the morning as it was all guess work. Also there was zero information/contact details or even fire regs in the actual room itself. I always find it helpful to have local info to look through and if extras like hair dryers/irons etc are available.
