"A wonderful night stop. Very highly recommended, indeed!"

My friend and I were on a motorcycle tour. Before we stayed at The White Cottage, Steve messaged us with good advice about parking (need for a soft ground puck on the gravel parking area), and to book our evening meal at The Kingfisher pub (very necessary). On arrival we were met by Steve who helped us 'square away', showed us our rooms and explained the workings of The White Cottage. I could easily go on but suffice to say that this is a wonderful place to stay. There has obviously been a lot of thought, care and attention put into the property and looking after guests. Steve and Donna are super hosts and we wish them every success in their venture!

A warm welcome from Steve and Donna.Our room was spotless in all areas and we enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden . We loved the history and quirkiness of the cottage.Great breakfast too,

"Overall, a very pleasant little get-away and would with out a doubt go back."

Breakfast was superb, the room was very clean and well supplied with towels, hairdryer, tea, coffee, biscuits and water as expected. The bed was very comfortable with good quality mattress and bedding, in fact super cosy. Shower was powerful and hot just how we like it. On return from a day out we sat in the garden next to water feature and had an icecream which was very pleasant and tranquil. The hosts were welcoming, accommodating and friendly.

I have no complaints, everything was executed to a high standard. Would definitely recommend to solo travellers, couples and small families.

"A lovely home from home"

The cottage was immaculately clean and the breakfast was delicious. Dietary requirements were accommodated with no issues. Parking was easy, as was exploring the local area on foot, by car, and on the Seaton tramway. The owners were very welcoming, and we felt very happy and comfortable staying here.

"Pleasant and friendly"

The building itself was gorgeous, built in the 1800s. It has lovely grounds to sit in, which we done because weather was nice. The village pub was nice the locals were very friendly.

Only complaints was my pillow was too firm. And mattress was firm too. I can honestly say that we could be back but I will bring my feather pillow from home.
