The Driftwood Spars

What lovely staff! I was provided with fresh milk, and a sweet treat for my tea upon checking in. The breakfast was wonderful (french toast is sublime) and the lovely lady taking my order was so nice. The location is right by the beach, coast walk, and St Agnes itself is great. It has a local feel, unlike many of the Cornish villages which are seasonal, and filled with holiday lets. The room, bed, shower, were all brilliant too. The tea bags, coffee, were all nice touches as well. I hope to return soon!

A little noisy in the morning and lare night, like maybe a generator.

Great location and wonderful staff. Good food.

I arrived early and was able to check in with no problem and was also given a room upgrade for no additional cost. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating at all times. Breakfast was amazing, the best I have ever had. It was ordered the night before and was served promptly. It was piping hot and all ingredients were excellent quality local products. The granary toast was lovely and the home made marmalade spectacular. Great selection of cold buffet products also including wide selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruits, pastries and fruit juices. Location on the coast path is excellent

Nothing - it was all fantastic

The overall friendliness of the staff was just right - not in-your-face but engaging and polite. All our meals were delicious; we chose to eat in the bar area as the ambiance was perfect and reserving our table earlier in the day seemed to work without a hitch. Our room had beautiful views of the sea and the surfers and I found watching the comings and goings of both vehicles and people along the narrow road entertaining!

Everything was fab; lovely staff, wonderful locationl; superb home-brewed beer; and a totally fair price. What's not to like?
