Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Howell by IHG

Everything was really nice and clean, solid breakfast spread and the rooms are spacious. The bedding could be a bit more comfortable, but still did the job. Ron was working the front desk when we arrived and he was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would stay here again in the future.

we came to stay for r daughters birthday cuz she wanted a pool party with her friends. the rooms were clean. pool was was warm. my battery died on my vehicle the next morning and i asked ron who is the assistant manager for a jump and he helped me no problem. the staff was wonderful and i would stay at this location again.

I prepaid for 2 rooms showed them the receipt and they waited till we checked out and charged me for one room. Not happy

I booked a double queen room and when I got there, I was told by the staff to never use a third-party to book a hotel because it booked a king size room instead. They were full, and did not have any more double queen, rooms, there were multiple people that had the same problem as me. Which means they ran out of rollaway cot beds as well.

The room we had stained carpet. Updates needed but the new lobby was nice. Pool was perfect.

The chair in the room was very beat up. I would not sit on it. The bed was poorly made. The surfaces had not been wiped down well and lastly, there was feces in the toilet.

Place is extremely clean and comfortable

We were traveling for sports and our team picked this hotel because of the location, pool and breakfast. I tried to sign up for the rewards program when I checked in, but the front desk said they were unable to help at that time. When we got up to our room, our carpets looked like somebody had walked through with wet feet. They were dark and soiled. After speaking with other teammates, this seemed pretty common throughout the hotel. Another teammate was told that they weren’t able to switch rooms because they were pretty much sold out.The pool was clean and the kids had a good time swimming. It was very cold! Breakfast had the potential to be awesome and we really looked forward to the advertised cinnamon rolls. Breakfast went until 10 in the morning and by 815 they were out of a lot of the breakfast food. Staff informed us that they were “cleaned out early!“ And there was no intention of making More. Several disappointed kids (and parents) resulting in us having to go out to breakfast and spend a lot more money. It would have been understandable if we arrived 15 minutes prior to it closing. One of the perks of traveling is being able to sleep in and not have to worry about making breakfast if you pick the right hotel. We didn’t get to sleep in and we missed out on a good breakfast. Overall, it served its purpose for housing the team, but Not likely to stay again.
