Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Howell by IHG

Rude manager Jennifer Briggs. Will never go back. Hotel filthy. Rooms old and outdated. Need vacuuming and dusting. Layer of dirt in tub, on desk, dresser, and fridge was dirty inside. Saw bugs in the hallway. Only good thing was AC worked.

Nice place, feels updated. Evidence of past repairs.

The bed was comfortable and clean. We were disappointed there was just one small chair, and no couch, but maybe that’s because we got a standard room. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were loose. We were happy there was a breakfast. Great variety. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, but maybe a little understaffed at times. We would stay again for the price we paid.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The two rooms our group stayed in could have used some minor repairs - room 303 has loose tiles in front of toilet and could use some tile repair/caulking around outside base of tub. Room 301 has a loose/broken front right leg on the desk. In both rooms, the two electrical outlets in bathrooms did not work, which in turn rendered the mounted hairdryers from working. The young lady who checked us in immediately provided us with brand new portable hairdryers, however they could only be used in the bedroom area, not the bathrooms because of the nonfunctioning outlets. Other than that, the hotel was nice, clean and fine.

Breakfast was good. The room was for handicapped and I am not. Made me feel a little uncomfortable was wanting a bathtub for relaxing but just a shower.

Should have been told about the handicapped room. Than I could have requested a different one.

Hotel is on great location.

Very pleasant young lady at check in. Very clean hotel.

The mini fridge was not cold.
