"Disappointed in Hilton"

I arrived a little before midnight. I live local but had a gas leak at my home and couldn’t stay there overnight. I chose this hotel because we had stayed here multiple times over the years and been very happy. We are Hilton Honors members and I thought it would be a good deal. I was told on check-in that there were “tons” of rooms available which I thought was good. I was given a room farthest from the elevator and on the front of the hotel right next to the highway. Needless to say, there wasn’t much sleep involved. Upon entering, I was shocked at the decor. It looks like something out of the 70s. Not what I expected from Hilton. The carpet was old and dirty, there were stains on the furniture and the floors, you can barely get in the shower because of the layout, stains on the bathroom ceiling, no curtains, just very minimalistic. The girl upon checkout was very sweet and apologetic listening to my ranting with about 2 hours of sleep. I received an email from the manager which looks like a form letter and no offer for a discount. Next time I’ll stay at one of the $50 hotels instead of the $100 I paid as a Honor Member.

The breakfast they wanted me to pay an EXTRA 10) for no thanx not after finding out dining was “closed for the holidays” even tho it wasn’t a holiday!!!!!

The heated pool was not heated and the temperature in the room was below freezing…our room had no hot water for showers..the bed was dirty and there was trash everywhere in our room
