The atmosphere and the outside bar were great.

It was comfortable and convenient.

Ottima struttura, con birreria, ristorante e una colazione super buona in puro stile scozzese, le camere sono molto belle in stile inglese, accoglienti e spaziose.

Freundliches Personal und gute Lage

The dinner- it was the lunch menu as it was a Sunday evening was very good. The Bartender delightful. Breakfast was hearty not just continental. The staff were friendly and nice.

The lighting in the room was terrible and we could find only one outlet.. A Candle would have put out more light than the bedside lamps. Impossible to read. The bathroom too was dark. Additionally the shower was a little dangerous. You had to step up into it and there was nothing to grab onto going into or out of the shower. Additionally you could hear the music in the bar clearly when you are in that bathroom. This is the James Room. Luckily the noise from the bar was not in the bedroom area and the bar shuts down at 10:30pm. However the clock on a tower near by chimed every hour and that was unexpected. It was not a deep chime which easier to ignore. Finally the only way to this room is curving stairs which means taking a large suitcase up and down is difficult. There was no one to help with the luggage. Parking is dicey. Nothing really close to entrance unless you get lucky.
