The Torcroft

We spontaneously booked this B&B for a night in Torquay. The room was reasonably priced, especially for how nice and clean it was. The owners were so welcoming and kind, giving us a 10/10 service. The breakfasts was delicious, came out super fast and had plenty of options. They had the cutest dogs as a bonus, while will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Gary and Philip for an amazing experience.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Torcroft. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome and very much at home. They are truly fantastic people—so helpful and eager to share brilliant local tips. They even helped us plan our daily itineraries, which made our trip so much better! The rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean, and filled with so many thoughtful little details. The beds are exceptionally comfortable; we slept soundly every single night. Breakfast each morning was a major highlight—completely homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the property features a gorgeous garden that is perfect for relaxing. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. A well-deserved 5 stars all around!

Gem of a place! Don't have enough words to describe how good this place really is. Gary and Philip are wonderful hosts. So friendly and helpful. We absolutely love it here, if you want a stress free holiday then stay here. Pattie and punkie are lovely dogs. We love sitting in the pleasant garden with them. Breakfast is better than any 5 star hotel. Rooms are stylish and spotless clean. Our happy place! Can't wait to return.

The people who greeted us were very kind and wonderful. They took care of us, gave us information and advice about local events. The quality of service was beyond words. The breakfast they've prepared was also delicious, and they personally took care of each table, which made us feel special.

There is nothing to dislike. Everything was good and pleasant.

The Torcroft is a fantastic Boutique B & B in a beautiful setting. It has a peaceful garden, an honesty bar, excellent breakfasts, gorgeous decor and Phil and Gary are the most likeable and friendly hosts. They genuinely want their guests to love their time here. We have now been three times and it's been consistently excellent.
