Rosedale Inn

The room was comfortable and quiet. Beds comfortable. Had dish detergent and sponge but no drying rack or dish towels or paper towels. Bathroom door needs adjusting (118); doesn’t open or close properly. Ample parking. So good stay but unfortunately not a full 5 stars.

Bed was comfy; large bedroom and large living room. Beautiful location. A very nice lady came promptly and let me in when I locked myself out one morning. Good location to Pebble Beach and 17 Mile Drive. We were there for the annual Concours of which my husband is a long time judge.

Run down facility; not a luxury lodging altho it was at one time. Couch/hideabed was very uncomfortable to sit on!! Man that checked us in was on the verge of being rude/surly (we arrived at 3:40 and the couple we were traveling with had just checked in) and the first words out of his mouth were "Check-in isn't until 4pm!" That was when I looked at my watch and realized the time. He said our room was not ready but he could give us a comparable room and we said we could wait but he insisted on giving us another room. He told us they did not have room cleaning service but we could get fresh towels whenever needed by request. The phone in living room did not work; one lamp next to bed did not work but turned out not to be plugged in so my husband plugged it in. The chairs in backyard were covered in old bird doo doo and little tables were so stained they were unusable. Etc. etc. : (

Pros: Perfect location, great value. Cons: bathroom door would not complete shut.

Don't be fooled by the " luxury " advertised. Peeling wallpaper , patched carpeting , missing toilet paper holder , flimsy screens , ragged carpet, bathroom door looked like it had been chewed by an animal , employee had to bend the plug to get the heater to work , trash outside the door was never emptied even though it was full . The grounds are unkempt with no attempt to make the place look nice . The sun terrace is a joke , 2 filthy tables with 3 chairs , one of them with broken slats . The bed was fairly comfortable and it was quiet , but wouldn't ever stay again.

The room was a good size with a small table and 2 chairs included, was comfortable and quiet as well. We had some problems with electricity as ceiling fan and some light switches did not work. We found on our own that could be corrected by pressing the red reset button in a bathroom outlet. We had food on the kitchenette which brought a lot of ant activity. One night some animal got into an outdoor trash bin that had an open top design and scattered food all over. The whirlpool tub had large remnants of non slip material on it, we did not use it but it was still clean. We rested well, the tv worked well as did the gas fireplace.

Great service..easy to check in and very easy to park. Room was clean..love my stay..coming back soon.

I would like breakfast, would be great! Otherwise a great location.

They couldn’t get the fireplace to work and the spa tub didn’t work the first night. The coffee was terrible. No maid service between nights.

Price was right, good location. Room was older and smelled musty with poor ventilation.
