Lovely experience. Hubby, Dog, and I stayed in one of the "cozy" dog-friendly rooms. Cozy, yes, but certainly enough room for the three of us, with the feel of a much more expensive room. The manager couldn't have been nicer and Dog was welcomed with a gift bag. Thanks! The location and gardens are marvelous and felt very safe, even in the pre-dawn light of an early dog walk. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location with stunning landscaping and views of the river from many rooms. Upscale toiletries, teas and coffee. Friendly staff. I would happily stay here again.

Last year I booked 3 nights in an expensive villa suite. After finally settling in found out the fireplace was broken, and the tv didn't work. Called the front desk, Elena spent an hour trying to fix it, but couldn't, the fireplace needed someone else. I went to my room and decided to work on my laptop, NO INTERNET or working TV in there either. Next morning was woken up early to incessant banging on the door by maintenance even with DO NOT DISTURB sign to drop something off, as they brought it in the manager barged in without knocking and proceeded to blame Elena, who was new and clearly not properly trained, about the tv and internet saying they were the same problem. She and the 2 from housekeeping were fixing it while talking to me in my pajamas, WOW. I was told the fireplace would be fixed early afternoon while I was out, it never was. That evening they switched me to another room, and the rest of the trip was fine. I later asked for a refund of the first night and dealt with Tracy at corporate who was not apologetic or very helpful and said she would credit very little back or I could have a comp night. I love the view and things happen, though not this much typically, so I accepted that. Booked a 2 night stay for early this week with 1 night being the comp night. Was so glad to get here. Recovering from a concussion and have auto immune issues so was looking forward to much needed rest. Within an hour several people came in upstairs with a child who was running, banging on walls and floor and slamming doors and the adults were stomping on the floors, which are wood so even louder, I literally have never heard ANYTHING like it in a hotel in my life, especially not a $400 a night one. I got a migraine shortly after, went to front desk for help, she was rude and said she'd ask her manager what to do and let me know, never heard back. Noise continued until 1am and started back up at 7am when I was woken up by the child running and banging. Messaged front desk who said they would ask them to be respectful of other guests but couldn't do anything about it and I could leave by noon if I wanted a refund, said I couldnt leave that soon due to increased illness caused by this and hoped it would get better, they left for awhile, I took a nap and then they were back even louder. I packed up and left around 2. Christine was in the office, really nice and apologetic but couldn't do the refund. Here is the majority of the response from Tracy at corporate next day. "Based on your feedback, it seems that a traditional hotel setting—where guests may be staying in adjacent or upper units—may not best suit your preferences. Unfortunately, we do not offer accommodations with more privacy than the option you selected. We are not certain when your financial institution will credit your account for the refund, but as a gesture of goodwill, we have issued a refund for this stay. However, please note that we cannot provide additional credits for any future stays." She refunded the night I WASNT EVEN THERE FOR, as a COURTESY, and refused to reissue the comp night and blamed me. In the 3 times staying here I heard very little from the rooms adjacent, above or below me until this time and it was only from above, but she blames me and says a hotel setting is not suitable for me, I've stayed in many hotels throughout my life and NEVER had these things happen or had such poor service! If you want a lovely view and nice rooms this place has it, just hope you don't have any issues as the $400 price tag does not include customer service or maintenance, which you shouldn't need in an expensive villa suite! I planned to come here a few times a year and send my adult children but seems there are many other options with great views that I will try in the future after I recover from this.

I had a wonderful stay here! The king studio had everything I needed for a weekend and I would have been happy to stay for much longer. The views were beautiful and both Natalia and Tracy at the front desk were friendly and helpful!
