Maypole Inn

Lovely characterful property in a great location with good car parking. Staff were very helpful and the food excellent.

Only thing was a weak phone signal in the area (not the pubs fault) but for some reason we couldn’t connect to anything on the wi-fi either…..but minor problem.

2nd visit. Comfortable bed. Ample tea coffee supplies. Complimentary biscuits in the room. Spacious room (6). Spot on breakfast 👌 Friendly staff. Eaten previously in main bar area and food was lovely. Plenty of off road parking. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Not great reception for Internet in bedrooms but think that is just the area, not specific to property.

Lovely stay, I was stopping one night to take part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks. I told the lady at check in I was leaving before breakfast, so she offered me a Pack up for lunch instead. Staff were amazing, from was spotless, and super comfy. Perfect for a one nighters

I liked the location and the accessibility to places to visit in North Yorkshire. The staff was amazing!! Extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. I could not have met nicer people! Food was good, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the location was quiet. I would definitely return for another visit.

Access to wifi was spotty. If you needed access, it had to be done in the pub. Getting and keeping a good connection with phone calls was also difficult at times.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location for what I needed was excellent. The accommodation was very clean and the breakfast was really tasty and plentiful.

The unevenness of the landing floor, the hole in the floor covered by the carpet and the low beams in the room. Although, the beams did have some padding on to avoid much impact.

I thought the Maypole was ideal. Located nicely for the market town of Settle and other nearby places. The staff were great, the room very clean and comfortable. Parking was ample and the food was first class. I will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

If I had a complaint, which I don't, I struggled to get a wi-fi signal but it certainly didn't spoil my weekend.
