Scam from the start. Inspect room before you sign anything. They already know you won't stay so they cover up the check-in sheet for your signature to hide the billing. They charge more for first night on paper, does not match quoted nightly price of Hotel.com.If you stay the second night on paper is cheaper. Filthy and moldy room, extremely moldy shower head, stains on everything. I can deal with old but not dilapidated. Sink would not drain. Room entry door would not lock every time and the back door to the "so called balcony river view" area had clearly been broken into before, and the chairs were broken etc., etc., etc. LOOK AT YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU SIGN!!! WE HAD NON SMOKING AND THEY PUT US IN THE ROOM WITH THE SMOKING AREA RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR DOOR.

Loved the river view from our balcony

The lady who checked us in was extremely rude. Otherwise I really loved the hotel. My room was pretty and very clean, I loved our balcony and the pool. Also we stayed two days and no one brought us any towels (I had some of my own) and not even a trash bag.

Loved everything as always!!! This place is our go to when in Cherokee! Staff is awesome and the place is great with a laid back scenic environment!

Have stayed @ this hotel many times in past; was shocked to learn they no longer serve continental breakfast; had to request room service, which only happened once. (The young lady who cleaned was very friendly & sweet). The entire building looked rundown & dirty. Weeds growing around shrubbery. I was very disappointed. The young man @ front desk on our arrival was not very friendly.

Could be cleaner

We love staying at the Rodeway Inn when we go to Cherokee. We love sitting on the balcony looking out at the river.
