To be honest, we were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The most basic standards of cleanliness were not met. We reported that the pillow had an unpleasant odour, but instead of addressing the issue professionally, a member of staff suggested that it was a problem with our sense of smell. A replacement pillow was eventually provided, but it still had visible stains on it. In addition, the window could not be properly closed, which resulted in a constant draft coming into the room. This made the room uncomfortable and unsuitable for a good night's rest. Overall, the condition of the room and the way our concerns were handled fell well below expectations. Unfortunately, it was simply not possible to stay comfortably in these conditions.

The property is in an excellent location, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. There was plenty of on-site parking available, which made arrival and departure hassle-free. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and valued throughout our visit. The continental breakfast offered a good selection of items and provided a pleasant start to the day. Our room was clean, and furnished to a good standard. It offered all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and while the comfort level was satisfactory. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenient location.

Lovely room, clean, just what was needed. Easy to find, with parking. Near to bus routes. Easy walk to Summertown. Good breakfast. Excellent, efficient and welcoming manager.

Nothing really! Just one small detail - I am a 9-stone woman who doesn’t do regular weight-training - and I found the bedroom door (fire-door?) very heavy and stiff to open and close.
