"Good sized room."

8.0

Good sized room. Exellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Only downside was noise coming from other rooms and doors that close with a bang.

"Lovely Pub, Warm comfy room, Great food and local."

10.0

A lovely pub with a friendly welcome from the staff and locals. Very good food and a great selection of local real ale. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We will visit again.

"Strangely Compelling"

8.0

Although it's not perfect, I really liked this place. The room wasn't cheap and the restaurant food was definitely overpriced (our dining experience wasn't enhanced by some elderly locals who were airing some rather bigoted views), but the room itself was spotlessly clean and had a massive bathroom. The bed was fine though not the comfiest I've slept in. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked and really good quality with super fresh bread. The owners were really friendly and the range of local beer and wine in the pub was superb. It is right under a very busy flyover, which seems strange as it's actually very rural, but there's not much you can do about the location!

"The Inn with the well"

8.0

We stayed two nights at the Inn with the Well. We were spending a day and a half gardening at our daughter's rented house, between tenantsand The Inn with the Well was a relaxing and welcoming place to come back to in the evening - soaking in a piping hot bath and enjoying a good meal. The breakfasts were great and really set us up each morning.

"Ridgeway stopover"

10.0

A great little place just off the Ridgeway. After a day's walking we were glad to stop for a rest. The room for 3 was great with lots of space and extremely clean. As we stayed over the Easter weekend, we were lucky to have a live singer and BBQ for entertainment. The food was very good. With a hearty breakfast and packed lunch we were ready for our next day of walking

"The Inn with The Well"

10.0

Tucked away off the main road made it quiet but also accessible. Check-in strictly not earlier than 4pm though. Very friendly and accomodating. Good value for both evening meal and breakfast in traditional pub. Good home cooking, fast and hot! I will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

"A Beautiful Inn without any faults"

10.0

I was a single lady on a business trip and stop in many hotels across the country. This rates very highly on my list and I definately will return. The Well in the pub is interesting and a lovely feature. The owners made me feel so welcome and were extremely friendly. The food in the pub was beautiful, hot and very reasonable priced. Rooms were lovely, what more can i say, i could not fault a thing.

"Nice rooms, shame about the food"

8.0

Spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped rooms in separate block. Food OK but overhyped & overpriced for what it was.
