The Priory

The self contained apartment was lovely and well appointed. It had a new kitchen and appliances. It was also the perfect temperature without having to adjust thermostats - the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the adjoining cafe was outstanding and the lady proprietor was super friendly :-) The village is very picturesque with nice walks directly from the apartment door. A handy SPAR shop across the road is useful.

I am being extremely picky here but a couple of things would have made an excellent stay perfect. There are 2 TV's. The main TV to watch whilst sitting on the sofa in the lounge area is on an adjacent wall. I appreciate as the fitted kitchen is facing the sofa it can't be mounted there. However, suggestion maybe to use an extendable bracket so you can angle the TV towards the sofa. A lamp in the lounge would have been great as the overhead lights are very bright. I used the bedside lamp instead in the lounge for a more homely feel whilst watching TV.

Fantastic stay , had everything we needed and in a great location !

It was a great for our disabled daughter who is on a wheelchair .. and the ground floor apartment was perfect

Breakfast was very good. Staff and service excellent

The floor in our room was very une ven. The doors on the shower felt unsafe as they were not attached properly. Top hinges on doors were broken.Concerned that there eas no heating on in the morning. We went out for an evening meal. The weather was very cold and very rainy. There was no outside lighting which made it feel unsafe

Breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly! Nice quiet area and good links to Garstang and Lancaster, will definitely book again.
