"Lovely staff, wine and food - hotel a bit pricey for what it is though"

Staff were lovely and went out of their way to make you feel welcome - we couldn't book onto a tour of the vineyard but ate (and tried the wines) at the Library and the waitering staff were hugely knowledgeble and just really lovely. The food and wine were also delicious.

Price of the hotel was a bit steep considering - we paid nearly £200 for a night in a double room and although everything was fine, it wasn't anything special (but to reiterate, the Library restaurant and all staff were lovely - I just think the room is about £50 overpriced).

"Lovely small hotel in beautiful surroundings..."

Beautiful surroundings...very helpful and friendly staff...comfortable and pleasant room. if difficult to sleep because of hot temperature in room, helped by fan. Lovely dining room and tables outside with vineland views.

Could have had more vegan/vegetarian choices. Quite expensive. The rooms were £820.00 for 4 people for 2 nights. On top were 2 dinners with wine for 2 adults and 2 children which amounted to well over £300.00 for 2 nights...perhaps a discount for hotel guests.?
