"Excellence with an X factor"

We chose somewhere special to celebrate a special wedding anniversary and Highcliffe House exceeded expectations. A magnificent location, the rooms were superb with every imaginable amenity including Alexa and an iPad. Of particular merit is Richard our host - an unexpected X factor. From greeting us in the driveway, carrying bags upstairs, conjuring up the perfect G &T, producing restaurant worthy breakfasts from local produce, offering sage advice and where and when to walk, and eat and willingly discussing the carefully curated art collection. Outstanding.

Highcliffe is the most beautiful B&B. Luxurious. Richard was absolutely the most attentive host. Gorgeous rooms, gorgeous breakfast and wonderful people. I’m definitely booking again as the location is so effortless to get to places. Lynton & Lynmouth are smart towns with beautiful independent shops selling high quality items. The restaurants (Particularly The Kensington) were outstanding in terms of food and drinks. I can’t rate the accommodation or place highly enough. Thank you, Richard.

Beautiful views, great hosts and exceptional breakfast.

Getting to it a bit problematical if you have mobility problems but then you are in Devon so hills etc are to be expected
