The room was sizeable, clean and there was an outside shower in the bathroom. 2 chairs outside the villa, but no cushions so we didn't use. There are loungers on the beach, but these get taken early. You can snorkel off the shallow beach which was good. One of my closer encounters with a shark (harmless and not Jaws, only the mosquitos liked the taste of me). For a quiet break from everyone, go to the surf beach restaurant. Quiet and hardly anyone there. Great staff, have a beer and a pizza. I haven't surfed for years, so didn't want to have my wife putting my attempts on YouTube for comedy. Good surf made it tempting to entertain the world.

Check in was extremely slow and frustrating. The terrible airport and the entire experience for getting the speedboat was slow, disorganised and late. After a very bumpy journey by speedboat, we had to wait around for check-in which was very slow. I've stayed in thousands of places and this was right up there as a failure. It often is the first interaction with a hotel and after hours of travelling, the last thing you want is slow check in, a endless pointless presentation which would be better off as a welcome pack and having to queue at a cashier office (very last century) to pay for an expensive speedboat and then do it all over again when you leave. I wasn't ever sure why they even had a reception desk as everything was just directing you to someone else. Booking anything required finding someone else including the a la carte restaurant. We couldn't get a table in the restaurant during our stay on any day including my wife's birthday, so we did the BBQ instead. It was OK, but the food was similar to the buffet restaurant. There was live music which was good. However it was expensive for what it was. All prices in the resort are priced in US$ and any extras such as trips are expensive. Toursist tax at US$12 per person per night is not included in the cost of accommodation, but that is true of all resorts in Maldives. All extras such as trips do not include 10% service charge + 12.5% GST.

Beautiful island and resort. Beautiful flora and fauna. Meals at the restaurant were great, lots of variety and themed dinner nights. Room was huge with all the necessary facilities. Stuff was really nice. Clean everywhere. I loved the surprise for our anniversary. The massage studio is something that I recommend. Really affordable services with experienced and polite personal.

It is quiet expensive at the souvenir shops. The resort needs more sunbeds and umbrellas, there is a lack of them and tourists fight over sunbeds all the time. We didn't really had an open beach in front of our Deluxe villa, it was nice, but still not much beach and higher price than the normal beach villa. The host Maram can be more professional, she wasn't really helpful.

The deluxe beach seaview has stunning sunrise view, very spacious room & comfortable beds. Has a nice porch to lounge right at the white sand beach. Room amenities were good with outdoor style shower and toilet. Took all inclusive package, several free flow restaurants/bars serving delicious international f&b around the clock.

It's quite a walk to the restaurants and activity areas. Buggy is available but not many. There's short waiting time for buggy pick-up. No slippers provided, have to request and takes awhile to be delivered. The excursions and spa prices are on the high side.
